My Poem

Pink, yellow and purple flowers
brighten up the garden as the sun shines down

Lillys, sunflowers and tulups.
Birds singing and cherping in the air

like they say april showers bring may flowers,
It also brings beauty too!

My trip to Ruidoso

My trip to Ruidoso was awesome! It was my very first time there and I went with one of my best friends named Alexus and her family. We drove for three long hours just to get there. It was a small little town that had a bunch of trees and mountains everywhere, it was pretty. When we got to Ruidoso first thing we did was go to alexus's step dads moms house, that’s where we were staying at. Me and Alexus stayed in a little cabin behind her house that was right next to a mountain. The next day after we got there we went for walks everywhere. We went shopping in the little mall that only has about six stores. They even had a mini movie theater and we got to tour it. We saw how they worked it and we saw the V.I.P section. After that than that’s when we saw out movie, we watched Eclipse.

Every time we would drive somewhere in that little town we would see heard of dears crossing the road right in front of us. I think that the funnest part about it was going to the mountains. Even though it took a long time to get where we went. First we had a picnic by a river and then Alexus and i went walking across the river on the rocks. It was fun until we fell.

My sophomore year

I started off my sophomore year at Del Norte High School. I think that it started off fun I met allot of new people and had allot of friends that went there from the year before. When I started my sophomore year I was kind of nervous at first than excited at the same time. I was nervous because I didn't know where my classes were but I was excited because I was going to see all my friends again. I had fun while I was at Del Norte for the first semester. My best friend went there too her name is Alexus Cortez.
I learned allot at Del Norte I learned about the periodic table of elements in Chemistry, I thought that was hard. I learned different solids and liquids. I learned rubber and plastic are different. Chemistry was my favorite class but yet the hardest for me. I also learned equations in Algebra, I liked to do Math but never really understood it that much. I was in Art and learned how to draw 3D and 2 point. I never really did that much in that class because all of my friends were in that class and I got distracted really easy.
I stopped going to Del Norte after the winter break because I was going to go to a day treatment program. That’s a different story. I was there for almost the whole school year. After I went there I started attending school at Atrisco Heritage High School. I decided to come to Atrisco Heritage was because my friend Alexus was attending it also, I live by it and it’s the only school that would accept me so late in the year. When I started at Atrisco I didn’t know anyone because Alexus had got kicked out. I’ve only been attending Atrisco for a couple of months but my experience so far is good.
I met new friends and I like all of my classes and teachers. My favorite class would have to be Art. I learned allot in art at this school. We draw allot and do shading allot. I like to draw when it comes out nice. I learned about scale factors, surface area and how to fold shapes in Geometry. I learned how to hang a light in stage craft. My favorite project in Stage Craft was to design the costumes of any fairy tale. I chose to design Alice in Wonderland. In English I learned how to be careful and watch where to put my camas, and periods and stuff like that. I learned how to use better grammar and better, bigger words. I also learned how to create blogs and correct them on my blogger.
I learned some lessons in life during my sophomore year. I learned you can’t always rely on your partner or other people. I learned I can’t trust anyone and sometimes that includes family. I learned you can only change if you want to and that you can’t make anybody change no matter how hard you try.
